If you prefer not to take public transport, then from the “Hauptbahnhof” central train station walk north for approximately 15 minutes. Look for the dark red Messeturm skyscraper (nickname “The Pencil”, which gives a clue to it's appearance) and walk towards it along the main road. From there, look for the roundabout.

Take Tram No.17 from Central Station till the last stop "Am Rebstockbad", takes you about 10 Minutes.You can already see the Motorway, which leads 300m later for both directions of the A5.When you arrive at the gas-station that heads into Frankfurt there is a bridge 200m away. Cross the bridge to the other side of the motorway, at this gas-station almost every car will go either north or south of the A5.The next gas-station in the north is "Wetterau", which usually is quite a good spot for long rides.But this gas-station also has lots of potential, some more experiences are needed though!Found twice a ride after 5 Minutes, one straight to Hamburg, on to "Raststelle Wetterau".
